As i teach i make sure students understand the concept or the principle of a certain topic rather than making them memorizing it, for Language subjects I focus more on actual speech and writing to ensure there is a good grip of the language rather than just merely memorizing the words. For example, quizzes, discussions and debates can instill good command of the language faster than just reading and following the orthodox way of teaching. .
