I believe that a student should be taught how to learn (I sincerely believe in strategy and methods) rather than just telling them how to do something. There can be many books and preparation books out there to assist in learning, but what makes the cutting edge difference to the student is how effectively they can put those books into use and how much they can learn and absorb the knowledge within the time span.
